This book is a photo and written essay to shine light on athletes that are in pursuit of their dream—in most cases being the underdog—telling their stories of blood, sweat, and tears, and everything else it takes to fulfill their dream.

It shows the passion, the drive, the work, and the dream—most athletes doing it for the love of the sport and out of their own pocket, still having to keep full-time jobs.   

Their drive inspires us, teaching us that going for it is possible and that we also can persevere and reach our dreams. It is the example for the rest of us.

The 20 2020 Project isn’t about if they win or lose—it’s about the pursuit, about being the underdog and doing it anyway.

It’s about bringing awareness to the athletes that don’t get the recognition they deserve. 

It’s about the love of the sport.
